Katie’s yoga classes utilize an alignment flow style which benefits the body, mind and spirit by:

·      utilizing breath to connect to your inner spirit 

 

Katie teaches with a consistent, methodical approach to promote personal growth and skill development. By focusing on a specific subject, body part, or action for a 4-6 week period, Katie helps her students feel empowered by developing a deeper understanding of their body, their practice and their personal progress. Katie believes deeply in the power of trust and accountability—meeting every person where they are, with compassion and her full presence. 

Whether you can attend one class or the full series, you will NEVER feel out of the loop or like you’re playing catch-up. Each individual class is well-rounded and suitable for a single, balanced practice.

Class Descriptions:

SunSal and Meditation: 30 minute class. Gentle Sun Salutations to work out the stress of the day and finishing with a calming meditation

Level 1: 60 minute class. Accessible to all levels. Great for beginners still growing into their practice as well as seasoned practitioners looking to reconnect to the basics and refresh their practice.

Level 2: 60 minute class. For experienced practitioners. A strong flow moving towards more advanced poses using smart and creative sequencing. Perfect for those looking to advance their practice.

YogaHIIT Fusion: 60 minute class. Accessible to all levels. Class will consist of well balanced 40 minute yoga class with 20 minutes of High Intensity Interval Training. I will offer different levels of intensity for the HIIT section of class so you can decide how intense you want to make it.

Slow & Stretchy: 60 minute class. Incorporating slow dynamic movement and gentle stretching, this class will unwind your body and release your stress. Ending with a short meditation, your mind will be clam and clear.

How to do Yoga: #EnhanceYourAsana in 5 minutes! This weekly class takes one pose and breaks it down for you. You'll learn what the pose is meant to do, how to make sure you are doing it properly, and some common misalignments.

Yoga for the Busy Person: 5-15 minute mini classes for those with a hectic schedule

How to Self-Treat the Body: short videos that show you how to relieve tension from home and without any fancy equipment

Friday Challenge Flow: Looking for a challenge? Each Friday a short flow will be posted that will push your limits. Highly recommended to warm up before trying the flow.
